It will help us to narrow down this issue. You need to EWS to delete email from this mailbox, if your want to do that, I will help you add the dev tag on this thread. Here are my suggestions to delete emails:įrom the client side, since you could use MFCMapi, why not open Outlook and delete emails from mailbox directly? Both of them could delete email from local cache then sync to server side.įrom the Exchange online side, Search-Mailbox cannot used to delete email from a specific folder. But from the seconded sentence, you said that you need to release the local folder but remain the server folder. I am puzzled by these above sentences: From the first sentence, I know that you want to delete those emails from Server side, it will also sync to client side. Enter your account details along with the following information: IMAP for account type. They serve no purpose when the Cache mode. Add your Gmail account via Add Account, then click on Manual setup or additional server types. I went back into webmail, and just opened each folder in my email account, just to be sure. So then I went back into Outlook and those pesky deleted drafts disappeared. BUT, when I went into my email account through the server (i.e., webmail) I went into that Draft folder, and all the messages were gone. (-DeleteContet)Īlso trying the MFCMapi app, (it's really cool app btw) but i needed to realise this clearing the local folders, not the server foldelrs. As mentioned before, the Sync Issues Folders are there only when OL uses the Cache mode. I couldnt delete them from within Outlook. Tried to connect the EXO services whit PowerShell (i'm the administrator, and i have rights), i see the folder, but can't clear it. ![]()
